Type of licence for the use of copyrighted materials

1. General Principles

The Journal adheres to international standards of open access and copyright in accordance with the recommendations of:

ü the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE);

ü the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ);

ü best practices of leading academic publishers (Elsevier, Springer, MDPI).

All publications in the Journal are distributed under an open access model with a clearly defined licensing framework.

2. Type of License

The Journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

This license permits:

ü free copying and redistribution of materials;

ü adaptation, remixing, and creation of derivative works;

ü use of materials for both commercial and non-commercial purposes;

provided that: appropriate credit is given to the author(s); a link to the license is included; any changes made are clearly indicated.

3. Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their work.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the Journal a non-exclusive license to publish and disseminate the material.

The Journal reserves the right to:

ü make articles publicly available in open access;

ü index publications in scientometric databases;

ü distribute metadata to third parties (Scopus, Web of Science, Crossref).

4. Reuse Policy

Users are permitted to: read, download, copy, distribute, and print articles; use materials for educational and research purposes; create derivative works;

provided that: proper attribution to the original publication is given; principles of academic integrity are maintained.

5. Self-Archiving Policy

The Journal allows authors to:

ü deposit preprint and postprint versions;

ü archive published articles in:

ü institutional repositories;

ü personal websites;

ü academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu);

provided that: the original source of publication is acknowledged; the DOI of the published version is included.

6. Licensing of Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use third-party materials (e.g., images, tables, datasets). Where such materials are used, appropriate attribution and licensing information must be clearly indicated.
